Yellowhead County is seeking proposals for playground design and installation within two of our Municipally managed campgrounds. Long Lake Campground is located North-East of Edson on Township Road 560. It is a rustic campground consisting of 16 campsites, two day-use sites, a boat launch, and a dock. There is a large clearing mid-loop in the campground where a playground was previously located. The clearing is mostly flat, sandy ground. Jerry Vanderwell Memorial Park (JVMP) is located North of the Hamlet of Peers at 14332 Township Road 545A. It is also a rustic campground consisting of 27 campsites and a large day-use area. The playground was previously located in the day-use area at the campground entrance but has been removed. The clearing is mostly flat, sandy ground.
