Renovation of a swimming pool in Edson, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,865-square-foot swimming pool.
Re-grouting of the swimming pool and hot tub basin floor & walls at the Edson & District Leisure Centre The total area of the swimming pool basin, which includes walls and flooring is approximately 6600 ft2 The total area of the hot tub basin, which includes walls and flooring is approximately 265 ft2 The tile dimensions are 2" X 2" The project shall include as a minimum the following: Secure the work area for a safe environment Removal of loose scale and existing grout Neutralize the substrate Supply and install professional grade swimming pool/spa pool grout to all tiles Supply and install swimming pool sealant Please be aware there is an expansion joint within the pool area which will require grouting Belzona 2200 Series MP Elastomers or equivalent. Bidders are required to provide a detailed scope of Work for the project for evaluation. The Edson & District Leisure Centre has a scheduled shut down planned for September 6th, 2022. On this date the pool will commence draining with an anticipation that the basin will be available for this project starting on September 12th, 2022.
