Batavia Park District will receive sealed bids from qualified contractors for portable toilet services at designated Park District Properties in Batavia, IL 60510, County of Kane, State of Illinois. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. A contract for the year 2022 with a possibility of extension for 2023 and 2024. 2. Delivery and collection of basic and handicap portable toilets to each designated park area. 3. Scheduled interval cleaning, tip over, repair/replace service of each unit as outlined in this contract. 4. Special event and sport camp pricing and service. 5. The ability to provide replacement, repair or service within 24 hours of notice. This is not a public works project, which would require payment of prevailing rates of wages for Kane County in accordance with Illinois law. The Owner encourages minority business firms to submit bids for the performance of the Work and the successful bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors and suppliers for labor, equipment, and services. The Batavia Park District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bid proposals or to accept any bid proposal, which in its judgement, will be to the best interest of the public, or to waive any informalities in bidding. Only bid proposals in compliance with the provisions of the Contract Documents will be considered. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date of opening.
