Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mankato, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's) modulate the current to motors to allow them to run at different speeds, this allows pumps to run at the most efficient energy curve for the motor and plant operations. Replacement of influent pump VFD's would be to swap existing VFD's with new more efficient and capable versions then existing models. Project would not replace any of the pumps or motors at the building. This project is in included in the City of Mankato FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of February 22, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
