Limits: Midpoint Project(s): 42828937201(*) Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: Electronic bids are requested for a Business Development Initiative (BDI) and Work Order Driven contract that consists of providing labor, equipment, and materials to clean and coat concrete surfaces such as: sidewalks, bridges, including beams and columns, concrete barriers walls, sound walls, concrete slopes, reinforced/retained earth wall faces, and other concrete surfaces. Work also includes clean ground mounted and overhead signs, aluminum and metal surfaces, traffic control cabinets, light poles, sign panels, guardrails, and other surfaces, to remove graffiti and other unsightly stains. The work may also include poster removal from any structures in different locations in Miami-Dade County. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each item to be bid. The Department's estimated quantities are used to establish unit prices bids which will then be used to determine the low bidder and contract award. The actual reimbursement to the Contractor will be based on the unit price of the actual amount of work authorized, completed, and approved by the Engineer subject to the limiting amount of the contract. There will be no pay item unit cost adjustment for quantities required over or under the estimated quantities. The various items shall be performed in accordance with these Specifications and in conformity with the existing lines, grades, and dimensions. Award will be made at the Budgetary Ceiling amount of $ 120,000.00. Bidders must be a "Small Business" as defined by FDOT.
