Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ramsey, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work generally consists of reconstructing 1.8-acre parking lot and adjacent park drives within Central Park. The work is estimated to include: -- 8,837 square yards of pavement removals -- 2,776 cubic yards of excavation -- 1,235 cubic yards of aggregate base -- 1,718 tons of bituminous pavement -- 2,515 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter -- 842 linear feet of storm sewer -- Miscellaneous other improvements It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on August 22, 2023, and that work may begin on or about September 5, 2023. Instructions for online bidding included in the Project Specifications. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of th total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond.
