Asbestos abatement and demolition on the south Area F of the Baker Center Building in conjunction with the Baker Area F reroofing project. All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870. No offer will be received or considered by Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the offer that states: "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148." All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid form provided. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and disposal necessary to access, remove, and dispose of all items included in the scope of work. Specific tasks included in the Scope of Work are described below: Base Bid Non-friable Built-up Roofing with Asbestos-Containing Silver Paint 9,500 sq. ft. Remove and dispose of all roofing materials and sealants on Area F down to the lightweight concrete deck. This includes the built-up roofing with asbestoscontaining silver paint (encapsulated in 2014) and associated non-asbestos roofing, insulation materials, and sealants.
