The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for the Grounds Maintenance Project. The project consists of the following: Providing all labor and material for mowing, weed whacking, aerating, fertilizing lawns and to include removal and disposal of lawn waste and garbage. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. Q&A DEADLINE: MARCH 2, 2022 BY 5:00 PM If the bid exceeds $100,000 the following apply: Certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the Kenai Peninsula Borough amount equal to five (5%) percent of the total bid, shall accompany each bid as evidence of good faith, a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the Bidder will execute the contract and give bond as required. For contracts with a contract sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or greater, or as otherwise specified in the request for bid, Contractor shall provide as part of the basic contract sum, a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, prior to Owner's execution of the contract.
