Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Industry, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work includes installation services for a replacement of a deteriorating culvert consisting of 2 corrugated metal pipes and a single corrugated plastic pipe on Willow Brook West Drive with a corrugated metal box culvert. Work also includes roadway improvements consisting of Superpave WMA binder course, 1 1/2 " Superpave WMA wearing course, base repair, guiderail removal and replacement, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Industry Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
