TOWNSHIP OF MONTVILLE MORRIS COUNTY, NEW JERSEY NOTICE TO BIDDERS LICENSED ELECTRICAL SERVICES FOR TOWNSHIP-OWNED FACILITIES Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Nick Marucci, PE, in the Engineering Department only, Township of Montville, Morris County, New Jersey, on behalf of the Township of Montville at the Montville Township Municipal Building, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, New Jersey, 07045, on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, for the following: LICENSED ELECTRICAL SERVICES FOR TOWNSHIP-OWNED FACILITIES Bids will be publicly read at this time in the Chambers of the Montville Township Committee. A contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Township to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Township, and to waive informalities. All bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Township. Bids on any other forms will not be accepted. Bid documents and specifications are available for NO CHARGE and can be obtained by an interested bidder at the Township of Montville Municipal Building at the Office of the Township Administrator only, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday Friday, excluding legal holidays, or by emailing your request to June Hercek: jhercek@montvillenj.org. Bids shall be addressed to Nick Marucci, PE, Engineering Department, Township of Montville, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045. Each Proposal must be enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, properly endorsed with the name of the Bidder, with the designation "TOWNSHIP OF MONTVILLE, SEALED BID, LICENSED ELECTRICAL SERVICES FOR TOWNSHIP-OWNED FACILITIES, MARCH 9, 2022, 10:00 A.M." Any envelope that is received that is not properly marked causing it to be opened prior to the bid will be invalidated. Bids may be received before the hour designated in this office, if they are mailed or hand delivered in person. The Township of Montville will not be responsible for any bid that is sent by mail or other form of carrier which is lost or which arrives after the bid date and time. Bidders shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements set forth in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, waive informalities therein, and to award the bid in the best interest of the Township.
