Bids will be publicly read at this time in the Chambers of the Montville Township Committee. A contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid, as set forth in the Contract Documents, the right being reserved by the Township to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Township, and to waive informalities. Bids may be received before the hour designated in this office, if they are mailed or hand delivered in person. The Township of Montville will not be responsible for any bid that is sent by mail or other form of carrier which is lost or which arrives after the bid date and time. Bidders shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements set forth in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, waive informalities therein, and to award the bid in the best interest of the Township.
