As of September 06th, 2022, project has been awarded to American Asphalt & Trucking with an awarded amount of $657,821.90. Bids may be hand-delivered or mailed by certified mail. Montville Township will not be responsible for any bid mailed which is lost in transit or delivered late. Bids will not be accepted after said hour. Project Description: The project scope includes milling and resurfacing of roads in Montville Township, repairs to and reconstructing existing drainage inlets, concrete driveway apron repairs, curb repairs, traffic striping and installing NJDOT compliant inlet hardware. Base bid includes approximately 33,280 square yards of 2-inch mill and 4,038 tons of 9.5M64 surface course. This project is partially funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wages. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Montville, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, must be submitted with the bid by each bidder. Bid proposals must be placed in sealed opaque envelopes addressed to the Township of Montville, 195 Change bridge Road, Montville, New Jersey 07045 and marked clearly on the outside of the envelope "BID DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED, 2022 ROAD RESURFACING PROJECT". The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Township.
