This project consists of renovations to buildings, installation of new pre-engineered metal building, and other work necessary to complete the improvements as specified. Exterior renovations consisting of new PEMB, demolition, masonry, metal wall and roof panels, painting, windows, doors and frames, garage doors, wood framing, sheathing, insulation, barriers, flashings, sealant. Interior renovations consist of demolition, wood framing, drywall, painting, insulation, doors and frames, restroom fixtures and accessories, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, casework, and paneling. Financial assistance for this project is being provided by the Federal Transit Administration which is under the jurisdiction of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). The successful bidder will be required to comply with Buy America regulations, all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and the prevailing wage rates pursuant to the Davis-Bacon Act. It is the policy of the USDOT that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) as defined in 49 CFR Part 26 shall have an equal opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with Federal funds.
