Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Edwardsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

This project consists of renovations to buildings, installation of new pre-engineered metal building, and other work necessary to complete the improvements as specified. Exterior renovations consisting of new PEMB, demolition, masonry, metal wall and roof panels, painting, windows, doors and frames, garage doors, wood framing, sheathing, insulation, barriers, flashings, sealant. Interior renovations consist of demolition, wood framing, drywall, painting, insulation, doors and frames, restroom fixtures and accessories, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, casework, and paneling. Financial assistance for this project is being provided by the Federal Transit Administration which is under the jurisdiction of the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). The successful bidder will be required to comply with Buy America regulations, all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and the prevailing wage rates pursuant to the Davis-Bacon Act. It is the policy of the USDOT that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) as defined in 49 CFR Part 26 shall have an equal opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with Federal funds. In this regard, MCT and its contractors and subcontractors shall take all necessary and reasonable steps in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26 to ensure that small businesses, including DBEs, have an equal opportunity to compete on and perform on this contract. MCT has established a project goal of 0.85% of the awarded contract sum for DBE participation. The IFB (excluding the Bid Submittal Forms), all issued addenda, and the plan holders list can be downloaded for free The Bid Submittal Forms will be provided to potential bidders upon request by calling MCT's procurement department at (618) 797-4600. Checks should be made payable to Madison County Transit or payment may be made via credit card by calling MCT's accounting office at (618) 797-4600 extension 4620. Printed sets of the IFB will be made available at no charge to qualified small businesses and DBE's. A small business will be considered qualified if it is listed on the Dynamic Small Business Search Directory and/or the IL UCP.
