Renovation of an educational facility in Waianae, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Waianae High School, Bldg C - Replace Air Conditioning Units Contractor shall provide and replace 4 split air conditioner units in C101 and C102. Furnish materials, labor, and equipment necessary to replace A/C units at Waianae High School building C. Working hours shall be 7:00 a.m. thru 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday unless otherwise instructed by school officials. No weekend work shall be permitted. A pre-con meeting shall be held no less than 2 weeks prior to starting the project for exact AC locations. All work shall be per manufacturers specifications and recommendations, and shall be performed to industry standards. Contractor must follow all current local city & county codes, current international building codes and most current electrical codes. This project is scheduled to commence upon award of a purchase order and must be completed by July 22, 2022. To be eligible to submit a bid, the bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii contractors license classification C-52 . A performance bond is required for all projects $50,000.00 and above. Upon award of jobs $2,500 and greater, the DOE will use the online Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) system to verify the contractors compliance documents. The contractor MUST be registered with HCE in order for an award to be made for jobs $2,500 and greater.
