For the furnishing of necessary labor and materials for the following: WOO-INDIANA AVE. (PID108456) Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit payable to the City of Perrysburg, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. Bids will be accepted from ODOT pre-qualified contractors only. Bidders are advised that this is a Federal-aid project. Compliance with Federal and State requirements will be strictly enforced. Bidders must comply with Federal-aid wage rate requirements as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Requirement. DBE participation goals (subcontracts, materials, supplies) of 8%, have been set on this project for those certified as DBEs pursuant to Title 23, U.S.C section 140 (c) and 49 CFR, Part 26, and where applicable qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the DBE goal. By submitting a DBE Utilization Plan, the Bidder is affirming that they will be using the DBE firms identified in the Utilization Plan to meet the DBE contract goal. The project is located within the City of Perrysburg corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection. The City reserves the right reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
