Site work and renovation of a civil project in Marathon, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The construction of this project consists of labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the installation of lift station with connection to existing 4" force main and electrical services as detailed in the project drawings and specifications. The scope of work consists of redirecting sewer flows that currently go into a vacuum sewer system to a proposed lift station. This includes removal of a buffer pit and an install of lift station. Taps of existing lines will be required as well as installation of associated valves. Once work is completed site restoration shall be required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, except timely submission of bids, to re-advertise for bids or to take any other actions that may be deemed in the best interest of the City. As a matter of information to bidders, the City does not bind itself to accept the minimum specifications stated herein, but reserves the right to accept any bid, which in the judgment of the City Council will best serve the needs and interests of the City.
