Renovation of a water / sewer project in Marathon, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Marathon is accepting sealed bids for Area 4 Filer Upgrades. The City will be installing a redundant disc filter at City of Marathon Area 4 wastewater treatment plant, the disc filter has already been purchased. Modifications need to be made to existing disc filter platform prior to installation of new disc filter. Bid documents may be examined at City Hall, 9805 Overseas Highway, Marathon by appointment only. Bid documents are only distributed from website. Any Bidder who have not obtained Bid Documents from will not be notified of any addenda issued, which could contain material changes to Bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, except timely submission of bids, to re-advertise for bids or to take any other actions that may be deemed in the best interest of the City. As a matter of information to bidders, the City does not bind itself to accept the minimum specifications stated herein, but reserves the right to accept any bid, which in the judgment of the City Council will best serve the needs and interests of the City. The City of Marathon complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
