CDBG Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation All Firms must be EPA Certified Firms following EPA's RRP rule. All workers (whether employees of a general contractor or subcontractor) working on any project where the site contains lead based paint or is assumed to contain lead-based paint must be either an EPA Certified Renovator or must be classroom trained in Lead Safe Work Practices with on-the-job RRP training by an EPA Certified Renovator. You must provide a copy of proof of such training to the Housing Rehabilitation Program. If the specifications call for abatement, then all abatement rules and laws will apply. This house has not yet been tested for lead based paint. This scope of work is exempt from lead because it is built after 1978. If the scope changes and lead paint is to be disturbed the above lead regulations will apply. It will be the contractor's responsibility to legally dispose of all waste created from the project.
