Renovation of a residential development in Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

CDBG Small Cities Housing Rehabilitation All Firms must be EPA Certified Firms following EPA's RRP rule. All workers (whether employees of a general contractor or subcontractor) working on any project where the site contains lead based paint or is assumed to contain lead-based paint must be either an EPA Certified Renovator or must be classroom trained in Lead Safe Work Practices with on-the-job RRP training by an EPA Certified Renovator. You must provide a copy of proof of such training to the Housing Rehabilitation Program. If the specifications call for abatement, then all abatement rules and laws will apply. This house has not yet been tested for lead based paint. This scope of work is exempt from lead because it is built after 1978. If the scope changes and lead paint is to be disturbed the above lead regulations will apply. It will be the contractor's responsibility to legally dispose of all waste created from the project. The Town of Mansfield hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex, in consideration for an award. Bids may be dropped off at the Mansfield Town Hall, 4 S. Eagleville Road, Mansfield, CT during regular business hours of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:15 - 4:30, Thursday, 8:15 - 6:30 and Friday 8:00 - 12:00. Bids received by mail prior to the deadline will be accepted. The Town of Mansfield reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality; or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town of Mansfield. All bids shall be considered valid for a period of ninety (90) days.
