Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Skokie Park District will receive bids for the Sports Court Fencing Project beginning February 17th at the Park Services Facility after 9:00 a.m. Bids are also available electronically by calling the Skokie Park District at 847 929-7800. The scope of work includes the installation of sports court fencing at two separate sites. The Skokie Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public's best interest. A prevailing wage determination has been made but the Park District the IDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawing in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by such a bond or check. Please contact Corrie Guynn, Superintendent of Parks with any questions at (847) 929-7802. This is an invitation to submit sealed bids for sports court fencing improvements at Oakton Park and Lockwood Park. All work shall be done in accordance with Federal, State and local rules and regulations. Contractor must secure and pay for all permits and licenses for removal and transport and disposal of waste materials
