Site work and paving for a road / highway in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Skokie Park District will receive bids for the Lockwood Park and Oakton Park Sports Court Improvements beginning February 17th at the Park Services Facility after 9:00 a.m. Bids are also available electronically by calling the Skokie Park District at 847 929-7800. The scope of work includes tennis and basketball court asphalt work at Lockwood Park and Oakton Park in Skokie. The Skokie Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public's best interest. A prevailing wage determination has been made but the Park District the IDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawing in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic.
