The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) requests bids for the construction of two 7.5-million-gallon (MG) AWWA D110 storage tanks, associated yard piping, and site work at the EWEB owned E. 40th Ave Storage Tank site.The project will require staking, site preparation, underdrain infrastructure, tank construction, yard piping, sediment and erosion control, and backfilling. Bidders shall meet Minimum Contractor and Specialty Subcontractor Qualifications as defined in the bid packages. In summary, these Minimum Qualifications include: o General/Earthwork Contractor: Completed no less than two (2) similar projects for water or wastewater holding structures during the last 10 years in a residential neighborhood. o Sub-Contractor(s): o Tank Subcontractor: Completed no less than five (5) strand wrapped prestressed concrete tanks during the last 10 years. o Tank Prestressor: Completed no less than five (5) strand wrapped prestressed concrete tanks during the last 10 years. First-tier subcontractor list (Section 00430) shall be submitted, preferably in a separate envelope by 4:00 PM PST, on March 16th, 2022. Bids and required subcontractor's list received after their respective deadlines will NOT be considered. No faxed bids will be accepted.
