The Grit Landfill Partial Clean-Closure Project scope of services includes the removal, direct loading, hauling and disposal of waste and waste-affected soil to a Class II facility, confirmation sampling of the completed excavation, and backfill and compaction of clean soils stockpiled on site. The Grit Landfill Partial removal footprint is approximately 2 acres. A mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through will be held for the purpose of reviewing and answering questions regarding this project. Attendees must e-mail Jill Teplin at teplinj@sacsewer.com with attendee names prior to the meeting. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid.
