The City of Burlington is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide sediment removal from four of its stormwater treatment facilities (ponds, forebays, and discharge aprons) including access and maintenance related vegetation removal. Also included in this RFP is an Add Alternate Request for the replacement of a stormwater pond outlet structure. Questions concerning this RFP must be made via email per the schedule outlined below. Responses to all submitted questions will be posted below. Questions concerning this RFP must be made via email to James Sherrard, jsherrard@burlingtonvt.gov, Stormwater Program Coordinator by March 17th , 2022, at 2:00 PM. It is the responsibility of the prospective bidders to contact James Sherrard via email to verify receipt of questions. Based upon such inquiry the City may choose to issue an Addendum. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with one or more parties, or to award the contract to the proposal the City deems will meet its best interests, even if that proposal is not the lowest bid. The City reserves the right to re-advertise for additional proposals and to extend the deadline for submission of the proposals. This Request for Proposals in no way obligates the City to award a contract.
