Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Burlington, Vermont. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of April 12,2022,no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. This Request for Proposals invites responses from experienced masons to assist the City of Burlington Department of Parks, Recreation & Waterfront (BPRW) with the repointing of buttresses at Battery Park in Burlington, VT. Battery Park is one of the City's oldest parks and provides outstanding views out over Lake Champlain to the Adirondack Mountains. The park also hosts concerts, events and is a neighborhood park for the nearby neighborhood. BPRW seeks a contractor to repoint eight buttresses supporting the Cain Overlook. Work is expected to include removal of more recent mortar that is not an appropriate mortar and repointing all needed areas. See attached RFP for complete details. Responses to questions will be posted here. This project has a required completion date of no later than June 30, 2022. The City anticipates that the selected Contractor will be awarded the project in early April 2022. The City reserves the right to amend all dates. Questions due: March 23, 2022 by 5:00 PM
