The Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake (UPD) is inviting your company to give our department a quote for a 12' by 20' (12 feet wide by 20 feet long) garage style outdoor shed. The shed should meet the specifications listed in Exhibit A of this Invitation for Bid and will sit on asphalt parking lot. The shed is expected to hold a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) weighing up to 1600lbs. Once bid is awarded, design drawings will be approved by UPD personnel prior to any construction. The purpose of this bid is to purchase one (1) shed immediately. The one-time purchase will be awarded to the most responsive, responsible vendor submitting the lowest total price for the 12ft X 20ft Outdoor Garage Style Shed listed in Exhibit A as well as delivery. The Unified Police Department may reject any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Unified Police Department. Written questions shall be submitted electronically through U3P/Sciquest, the State of Utah's Purchasing Platform, by the due date and time posted. Changes to the specifications will be released in an addendum to the "INVITATION FOR BID." If a vendor does not have U3P/Sciquest, they may email questions to awatrous@updsl.org. Emailed questions will also be posted on U3P/Sciquest by UPD, with the answer, so that all vendors can see all questions and answers. Questions will not be accepted after Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at noon MST. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
