Shawnee County Parks + Recreation (SCP+R) is soliciting sealed bids for the design and construction of infrastructure and improvements at Lake Shawnee Campground, 3435 SE East Edge Rd All inquiries requesting clarification of the Request to be addressed in writing to Shawnee County (email: chris.curtis@snco.us) on April 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The estimated construction value of the proposed work under this method will be two million dollars ($2,000,000.00). Shawnee County reserves the right to accept or reject any part of, or all of, any bid or proposal. *This project has been identified as part of a stimulus package The Scope of Construction work consists of the following Base Items: 1. Sanitary Sewer upgrades and additions 2. Waterline upgrades and additions 3. Electrical upgrades and additions 4. Infrastructure Paving upgrades and additions Optional Feature items outside the scope of the Base Items which may be added dependent upon results of the Base bid and available funding include but are not limited to: 1. Cabins 2. Lake trail 3. Pavilions 4. Pickle-ball court(s) 5. Off-leash dog park 6. Dog wash station 7. Low ropes course or similar structure 8. Boat launch with dock 9. Boat launch parking area 10. Secondary lift station
