Mowing of City right of way, mainly along Wythe Creek Road. Inquiries regarding the technical aspects and the bidding procedures of this solicitation should be directed to H. Thomas Jones, Director, Public Works, 757-868-3590 or Thomas.Jones@poquoson-va.gov. Bids in excess of $100,000 shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond payable to the Treasurer of the City of Poquoson, Virginia. The original contract term will be 24 months. This contract may be renewed by the City for a period of three (3) additional successive one year periods under the terms and conditions of the original contract. Price increases may be negotiated only at the time of renewal. The City Manager reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. Awarded-Grasswackers, Inc.
