The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District (District) is seeking to receive proposals for a Construction Manager as Constructor (CMC) to provide preconstruction and construction management services for the Terminal Landside Roadway Improvement Project (TLRIP) at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), located in the Spartanburg County. Any contractor with the appropriate licensing wishing to respond to this project must complete this application. General contractors must be able to show experience and expertise with similar sitework, utilities, traffic control, and roadway projects and be able to meet the requirements described below. The project includes the reconfiguration of intersections at GSP Drive and Aviation Parkway by adding two new roundabouts between Parking Garage A and Parking Garage B. The intersection of GSP Drive and Terminal Parkway will also be upgraded by providing a continuous flow of traffic to access the terminal curb front. Additional curb front will be created by joining Terminal Parkway to the existing six lanes in front of the terminal for arriving and departing passengers. Street lighting, pedestrian crossings, and signage will be enhanced Selected contractor will support the design effort by providing project cost estimates for review by the District, project schedules, review and comment of design submittals from the Engineer, constructability measures and delivery of a guaranteed maximum price (GMP). Construction includes but is not limited to earthwork, utilities, paving, lighting, landscaping, wayfinding and pedestrian signage. Airport traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) in and around all construction areas must be maintained.
