Site work for a water / sewer project in Aurora, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Complete various water distribution system improvement projects to provide adequate water volume and pressure to the far southeast service area. Projects include a 16-inch watermain on View/Gale, 12-inch watermain on River/North, 16-inch watermain on Mitchell/Indian Trail Road, improvements to the Main Pumping Station, improvements to the high-pressure system pumps, and improvements to several other items. 2024 projects include 16 inch watermain on Keating Drive and 16- inch watermain between Middlebury Drive/La Jolla Court to provide additional capacity for commercial developments at southeast end of town. 2024 projects to be reimbursed by developer. Project is included City of Aurora Fiscal Year 2025-2034. As of April 28, 2025, construction funded for FY2025-2034. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
