Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

In the design and pre-construction phase of this work, studies will be performed to provide recommendations for building recommissioning; air handler repairs, modifications, and replacements; replacement of and/or renewal to building automation controls and programs; ducts (cleaning); and the installation of airborne microbial and particulate elimination technologies such as improved filtration, ultraviolet lighting, and bi-polar ionization. The design-build project delivery method will be used to deliver high-value indoor air quality improvements in selected FVSU buildings identified in preconstruction studies in an integrated strategy. The funding for this project is federal grant funding as stated in Section 1, General Project Information, Project Background, of this RFQ/P. The project will proceed as authorized by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents subject to the availability of funding. The Guaranteed Maximum Price is estimated at $3,422,827. The preliminary stated cost limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $3,002,480. The final SCL may be revised by the Owner due to final programmatic requirements, funding availability or other circumstances. The Design Builder s (DB) services are anticipated to commence by March, 2022 with construction documents anticipated for completion in July 2022. The start of construction is contingent on the availability of funding. (All of the dates above are estimates and are contingent on the availability of funding).
