The project is expected to be awarded on May 10, 2022.** The work includes removal and replacement of existing playground structures, shade structures, concrete, and landscaping, including all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to install a complete and operating facility in accordance with the Project Plans and Specifications. Engineer s Estimate: $350,000 The bids shall be opened according to one of the following procedures: 1. Council Chambers at 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, CA 95616. Bidders will be allowed to sit in the Council Chambers but at least 6 feet apart to adhere to social distancing requirements. 2. Outside of the Council Chambers at 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, CA 95616. Bidders will be allowed to sit outdoors near the Council Chambers but at least 6 feet apart to adhere to social distancing requirements. 3. Taped Video. City staff will record the bid opening and make viewing of the video available to bidders to view in separate rooms at City facilities. 4. Live Video Feed. Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier s check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the City Council, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to City of Davis as bid security.
