Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Davis, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of May 3, 2022, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to reconstruct and widen Runway 17-35 from 50 feet to 60 feet. Four existing cross taxiways will be reconstructed as necessary to accommodate grade changes and transitions to the new runway grades. New blast pads will be constructed on both ends of the runway. New duct, cable, light bases, lights, signs and all associated items for the runway lighting systems will be installed. The project will also include new airfield marking, new airfield lighting for the runway, and new taxiway reflectors on cross taxiways. A new electrical vault and all associated equipment and connections, new PAPI and REIL units on Runway 17 and 35, and a new wind cone will also be included. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise The University's award of this contract is conditioned upon Bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 . The Regents of the University of California, has established a DBE goal of 3.9% race neutral.
