Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the time for receipt of bids. Following the walkthrough of Southeast Elementary we will meet at Northeast Elementary School at 4:30 p.m. located at 9058 S California Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Attendees are to gather and obtain ID badges at the main entrance. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference. All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project site by scheduling appointments through the Office of the Director of Buildings & Grounds, Mr. James Hennessy, at jhennessy@d124.org. Unscheduled visits will not be permitted. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the Evergreen Park School District 124 Administrative Offices on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Mr. Eric Grossi, Business Manager, Evergreen Park School District 124, 2929 W 97th St, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Bid security shall be payable to the Board of Education, Evergreen Park School District 124. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of Evergreen Park School District 124. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Contractors may obtain (1) set of bid documents in pdf-compatible digital format at no cost via digital download from an on-line plan room. Additional digital sets, partial digital sets, and paper copies may be obtained by any contractor at the contractor's cost. Shipping costs shall be by the contractor.
