The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervisions, and other facilities necessary to perform the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: The mowing and trimming of the grasses at Edwardsville Cemeteries, sections of the City s trail system, River Front Park, and other public spaces and rights-of-way throughout the City. Bids will then be reviewed Wednesday, March 23, 2022 by the Edwardsville Cemetery, Parks, and Public Spaces (CPPS Board). Final review and award will be done by the Edwardsville City Council on Monday, March 28, 2022. The City of Edwardsville, Kansas, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive technicalities. Bids may be held by the City of Edwardsville, Kansas, for a period not to exceed fourteen (14) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purposes of reviewing and investigating the bidders qualifications, prior to awarding the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid during this period. Contracts shall be awarded to the lowest and best bidder in the opinion of the Edwardsville City Council based on the recommendation of professional City staff.
