The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD/Owner) desires to receive quotes to perform repairs on a 1000hp 4160V motor removed from its Monitor Wellhouse facility. A quote for a new replacement motor is also being requested. The location of the Monitor Wellhouse is: 8578 S Monitor Drive (2049 E.) Sandy, Utah. (This motor was removed and was taken to a local motor shop for a diagnostic inspection to define the extent of the repairs needed. If the decision is made to repair the motor, the motor will be transported to whomever the work is awarded) Quotes shall be on the Contractor s official letterhead, noting the work to be performed and the total cost for the work proposed. Quotes proposed shall also be made on the Quote Schedule bound herein. A new replacement motor shall be included as part of the quotes and shall have all the same motor specifications as noted on the tag plate of the existing motor. This shall also include any internal monitoring that exists with the existing motor. The quotes shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the Company providing the quote and the name of the project (Motor Rehabilitation Monitor Well). Work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of acceptance of the Award of Purchase Order should repair of the motor be selected. If a new replacement motor is selected, the completion time shall be extended to an agreed upon time between the contractor and JVWCD pending the availability of when the new motor would be subject to completion. Work at the site shall be performed between the hours of 6am and 6pm, Monday through Friday, unless prior arrangements between the Contractor and JVWCD are made. If work is not completed within the time frames noted herein or agreed upon, the Contractor herein agrees to accept liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per day. The JVWCD reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, any part of the quotes, to waive any informality in a proposal, and to make awards in the interest of the District. An Award of Purchase Order, if awarded, will be made within 10 calendar days after receipt of quotes following the March 16, 2022, deadline. Work will be awarded based upon the lowest responsive and responsible quote(s). No Award of Purchase Order will be awarded to a Contractor who does not hold an active business license in good standing applicable to the type of work to be performed, and/or is not registered with the State of Utah.
