The Riley County Public Works Department is accepting bids for approximately 1,900 tons of CM-K 3/8 inch crushed/washed limestone aggregate to be used as cover material in asphalt sealing. The pricing will include delivery of 1,200 tons to Riley County Public Works, 6215 Tuttle Creek Blvd., Manhattan, KS 66503, and 700 tons to Leonardville Storage Yard, 204 S. Arizona St., Leonardville, KS 66449. The crushed/washed limestone aggregate supplied for this bid shall be delivered by the supplier prior to June 1, 2022. Contracts for work hereunder will obligate the contractors and subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices. Proposing party must submit with their proposal a signed AA/EEO Certification as per K.S.A. 44 1031. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of 30 days after the bids are opened. Any bidder may withdraw his proposal by personal, telegraphic or written request at any time prior to the time scheduled for receiving bids
