The Riley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities in considering Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board s opinion, is in the best interest of Riley County. Project Locations: McDowell Creek Road - Pillsbury Drive to W 40th Avenue Diebler Road - Rannells Road to Rannells Road Messenger Road - Zeandale Road through Noon Street Rannells Road - Messenger Road to road end 1) Perform approximately 7,015 square yards of asphalt pavement milling at two (2) locations throughout Riley County. 2) Apply an asphalt overlay at four (4) locations throughout Riley County at the thickness and quantities indicated in the documents using one of the provided Construction Options. 3) Prior to placing any new asphaltic mixture, a compatible tack coat shall be applied to the existing subgrade or asphalt surface. 4) Traffic Control during the milling operation will be the responsibility of the Contractor and shall be subsidiary to other bid items.
