The Work, in general, consists of: 1. New Bus Connector a. A new concrete roadway to provide bus circulation on the north end of the Wexner Medical Center. This roadway will connect John Herrick Drive and 12th Ave between Arnoff Lab and Jennings Hall. b. Concrete walk c. Landscaping d. Light pole relocation and re-lamping e. Existing storm sewer modifications f. A high number of underground utilities exist at this location including a tunnel, a vault, steam lines, water lines, gas lines, storm lines, an irrigation cistern, communication lines and high voltage electric. An effort has been made to identify and locate underground utilities within the project area. Contractor shall use care to verify locations. 2. New Bus Connector at 12th Avenue a. New accessible ramp b. Paver repair c. New stadium stairs and seat walls 5. Replace existing detention pond with new bioretention basin. Initial activities include: 1. Maintenance of traffic, construction fencing, erosion and sediment control. Project is located between 12th Avenue and John H Herrich Drive. The connector will be between the existing Aronoff Lab and Jennings Hall buildings west of Neil Avenue, Columbus Ohio 43210. The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 5.0 percent.
