The City of Calgary (The City) is seeking respondents capable of providing rail grinding services on the Calgary Transit (CT) Light Rail Transit (LRT) System. The requirement involves rail grinding on mainline open and embedded track sections such as ballasted and direct fixation (bridge/tunnel) track, grade crossings and special track work/turnouts. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of The City to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to four (4) additional one (1) year terms, not to exceed a maximum of five (5) years.
