The purchase of an up to one year supply of each of the following chemicals, commencing May 1, 2022, on an as-needed basis: Hydrated Lime, Activated Carbon, Potassium Permanganate, Liquid Chlorine, Liquid Caustic Soda, Hydrofluosilicic Acid, Liquid Zinc Orthophosphate, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Polyaluminum Hydroxychloride-Polyaluminum Hydroxychlorosulfate and Ammonium Sulfate. All Bid Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond which shall have, as collateral, either a corporate surety or a bank check payable to the "Municipal Authority of the City of New Kensington", the amount of the Bid Bond to be equal to ten percent (10%) of the unit price for each chemical bid multiplied by the estimated quantity of it and the total for all such chemicals added together. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals and to waive any informalities in said Bid Proposals.
