PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as "VDOT", is soliciting bids from qualified firms to perform flushing and/or vacuuming of storm water drainage structures. These water drainage structures are located within Fairfax County along the right of way on various primary, secondary and residential routes maintained by VDOT in accordance with this invitation for bids. Work will be on an on-call, as-needed basis. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: One year from date of award with four (4) optional renewal periods. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Nasir Chhipa at nasir.chhipa@VDOT.Virginia.gov The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised.
