Requirement: Provide 5/8" through 1 1/2" Cold Water Meters Deadline for Questions: Prior to 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022 The Fairfax County Water Authority, doing business as Fairfax Water (FW) was created under the Virginia Water and Waste Authorities Act pursuant to resolutions adopted by Fairfax County on September 26, 1957. Fairfax Water is managed by a ten member Board of Directors appointed for three-year terms by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. The objective of this Invitation to Bid (IFB) is to award a contract to provide Fairfax Water with 5/8" through 1" Cold Water Meters. The quantities contained in this IFB represent a one-time purchase to supplement our meter inventory. Fairfax Water understands the supply chain issues so bidders are encouraged to provide a realistic delivery time for providing the meters requested in this IFB as bidders will be held to that delivery time. Bidders should note FW will not accept any price adjustments on meters so the prices bid will be the prices paid for meters regardless of when meters are delivered. The bid form is separated into two lots. Bidders may bid on any or all lots but if bidding on a specific lot, bidders shall provide a bid for all items within that lot. A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on a total cost or per item basis, whichever is deemed most advantageous to Fairfax Water.
