Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Napanee, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
The Corporation of the Town of Greater Napanee (the Town) is issuing this Request for Quotations (RFQ), seeking bids from qualified contractors for the installation of replacement fabric building covers, on a Municipal salt storage structure. The building is located at 8321 County Road 2, Napanee. The scope of work includes the following: - The structure is a Britespan Building Sytem, Apex Series, measuring approximately 80' Wide x 115' in Length. - The existing fabric covers must be replaced. - The removal and disposal of the existing covers, forms part of this undertaking. - The new system shall be upgraded to include belting strips with cam buckles at 20' o.c. - When installing the roof covers, the existing fastening tubes, ratchets and belting must be utilized. - Supply and install two (2) FR mono covers - one at 49' L and one at 66 L with a keder split at gridline 5 - Installation shall comply with the manufacturer s specifications. - The factory warranty must form part of the submission. - The warranty for both material and workmanship must be clearly identified as part of the bid submission.
