Site work and paving for a road / highway in Great Falls, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of three schedules: Schedule I includes approximately 910 feet of new paving on 11th & 12th Street NE and approximately 0.5 miles of 0.2 plant mix overlay on 14th St. NE through 20th Street NE and 22nd St. NE all south of Smelter Ave., and Summit Drive. Schedule II consists of a 0.2 plant mix overlay of approximately 2.1 miles including 15th St. NE, 17th St NE, 19th St. NE, 21st St. NE, north of Smelter Ave., also including Colorado Ave., Montana Ave., and Wire Mill Road. Schedule III consists of a 0.2 plant mix overlay of approximately 1.2 miles including Chicago Ave., River Ave., 16th St. NE, 17th St. NE, 21st St. NE, 22nd St. NE, River Ave., 23rd St. NE, and 27th Ave. NE all in the Black Eagle area. All schedules include connections to existing features and other miscellaneous work. Contractor shall have the required qualifications in order to bid this project. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project. CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana, 59604- 8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as required by the laws of the state of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier s Check, or Bid Bond payable to Cascade County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. Award of this project will be contingent upon receiving concurrence from the Cascade County Commission. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids stated. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of Cascade County.
