Renovation of an educational facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Alter and extend the existing Building Management and Control System (BMS) to accommodate the replacement of existing mechanical equipment depicted on the drawings and controlled as specified in Section 230993 "Sequences of Operations for HVAC Controls." The Building Management System (BMS) herein specified shall be fully integrated and installed as a complete package by the Building Management System Contractor identified in "Quality Assurance" section of this specification. B. The work of this Section and Section 230993 "Sequences of Operations for HVAC Controls" shall be performed by the BMS Contractor as a separate contract to the Owner. The Mechanical Contractor shall install control valves, control dampers, thermal wells, flow switches, and similar control devices, as furnished by the BMS Contractor, in ductwork and hydronic piping systems. The Mechanical Contractor shall coordinate the final location of control components with the BMS Contractor prior to the installation of ductwork and hydronic piping systems.
