West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors invites qualified Contractors to submit a bid to provide all labor, material, equipment, supplies, and services necessary for the CAC Clay Theatre ETC Equipment Project located on the Evansdale Campus. Specifications and Drawings are located under Buyer Attachments; these specs and drawings are for the entire project (equipment, electrical contractor, infrastructure, etc.) but are being released to give suppliers on this solicitation an understanding of where their work fits into the overall project. The bid process is highly controlled. To protect the integrity of the process, any questions or clarifications regarding this Request for Bid must be handled through the Department of Procurement, Contracting, & Payment Services. Cutoff for Questions: Date: February 23, 2022 Time: 12:00pm (Noon) The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion if contract time stated below is in number of calendar days. Delivery of material must be such that equipment contractor and electrical contractor can achieve Substantial Completion. Substantial Completion - December 2, 2022 Final Completion - December 16, 2022 Note: In the event the bid due date changes, it will be posted via addendum; the date will NOT change on this description. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion if contract time stated below is in number of calendar days. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages will be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of Delay in achieving Substantial Completion.
