Renovation of an educational facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work shall consist of demolition and removal of an elevated ramp approximately 150 linear feet in length with one switchback located at North Elementary School in Morgantown, WV. Removal and clearing of debris. The successful contractor shall be responsible for purchase and installation of a temporary stair as outlined in the contract documents. West Virginia Code 21-11-2 requires all Bidders desiring to perform contractual work in West Virginia must be duly licensed. All prospective Bidders shall be licensed prior to submitting their bid and shall include their contractor's license number on their bid in accordance with the requirements of West Virginia Code 21-11-11. All Bidders will be required to pay applicable B&O taxes. Each Bid shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia payable to the Monongalia County Board. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those whose names and addresses are on record as having obtained Bidding Documents and in attendance at the pre-bid meeting.
