Demo and replacement of approximately 38 sq. ft. of ceiling tile and associated grid work in 150 restrooms located in Summit Hall. Cutoff for Questions: Date: May 10, 2022 Time: 12:00 pm EST The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and FinalCompletion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Fiver Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion. This project is for the demo and replacement of ACTs in one hundred and fifty (150) shared restroom spaces in Summit Hall, measuring approximately thirty-eight (38) square feet. Work may commence after May 15, 2022 and must be complete on or before July 31, 2022. Replacement grid is to be Armstrong Prelude Plus XL Aluminum or equivalent and ceiling tile(s) is/are to be Crane Composites Glasbord Embossed ceiling panels or equivalent; any request for equivalency must be proposed to the Owner prior to the cutoff for questions to be evaluated. Contractor is to field verify all measurements. During this time, other trades/contractors and Facilities Management staff will be in the building providing other services, therefore coordination must be considered; the successful contractor will work with Facilities Project Manager for details.
