The work generally consists of the following: To provide reservoirs and watermains to future residential subdivision including the following: The supply and installation of approximately 1800m of 150mm water supply line from McGimpsey Road to the Nenagwas IR#12 boundary. Approximately 1800m of common trench water supply and water distribution piping of various diameters. Installation of air release valves, flushouts and swabbing stations. The construction of two 30m tall standpipe water reservoirs. The construction of a new access roads and reservoir site, including asphalt paving, swale construction, new culverts, and headwalls. Each tender must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cheque of 10% of the tender price made payable to the Tlowitsis Nation. A consent of surety confirming a labour and material bond and a performance bond each in the amount of 50% of the total tender sum will be required. A general contractors' registry will be maintained during this tender period at the offices of Chatwin Engineering for the purpose of supplier enquiries. General contractors wishing to bid on this contract are to notify Chatwin Engineering to be placed on the General Contractors Registry for this project by emailing Carol Selezinka at Carol@chatwinengineering.com.
